the wind blows

friday the 13th, june 2003:
white-knuckle riding through mist, drizzle, and downpour for just over eight hours from vermont to cape cod——no incident.
left hand cramped from rush hour clutch squeezing.

saturday the 14th, june 2003:
park cars as head parking ”swain” at the wedding of P&S, eat, drink, dance, be merry. great event…. even a ride in a 1934 Packard.

sunday the 15th, june 2003:
breezy, sunny, clear.
compliments from many BMW admirers of the age and fine shape of the motorcycle i’ve taken on the start of a potentially long journey.

  1. Can't believe those man paws of yours are vulnerable to anything, but rush hour has got to be rough. Do you take to intra-lane usage once the cars have stopped or do you not chance getting pinched by two SUV's (or some random highway ordinance for that matter)? I'm glad you got your motorcycle "wreck" out of the way early in such a benign manner. Hope the sun smiles on you r. mckaggis. I heard k. crowell is going to be in Montreal real soon and I think he's staying till the 4th or 5th. You gonna be headed up there at all? Have fun. X's and O's.
